What is supporters?
- Personne qui est attachée à une cause,à un parti,à une doctrine, etc., dont elle prend la défense : Les partisans de la république.
Person who is attached to a cause, to a party, to a doctrine, etc., which she takes defence: supporters of the Republic.
- Avant 1789, financier qui avait conclu avec l'État un traité(ou parti) lui octroyant le droit de lever un impôt à son profit contre versement d'une somme fixe.
