- In senso spaziale indica una direzione o una meta non raggiunta ed è direttamente unita al sost.: sta viaggiando v. Roma si avvia v. i settant’anni abita v. Genova ci vedremo v. le 9 ║ Davanti a pron. pers. per lo piùè seguita dalla prep. di (v. di te, v. di me ).
In a spatial sense it indicates a direction or a goal not reached and is directly linked to the sost.: it is traveling v. Rome starts v. the seventy years lives v. Genoa we will see you v. the 9th in front of pron. Pers. mostly it's followed by the prep. of (see you, v. me).
- In senso modale, rispetto a, a riguardo di: critico v. il suo operato pietoso v. chi soffre.
In a modal sense, compared to, about: critical v. his pitiful work v. sufferers.
- Nel compl. di età indica approssimazione: v. i trent’anni abbandonò la famiglia e partì per l’America.
