What is tending?
- tr. Riferito a oggetti flessibili ed estensibili oppure avvolti su sé stessi, svolgere nel senso della lunghezza o della larghezza: t. un filo fra un palo e un altro t. un lenzuolo ║(MUS). Riferito alle corde di uno strumento musicale, portarle alla tensione giusta per ottenere un’esatta intonazione ║ Riferito alla corda dell’arco, tirarla a sé mettendola in tensione prima di scoccare la freccia.
