What is Pina?
- (BOT). Albero sempreverde, dal tronco diritto, cilindrico, chioma a forma di ombrello, foglie ad aghi, frutti (pigne ) a squame legnose ║ P. marittimo (o p. selvatico ), albero con fusto slanciato o ricurvo a sciabola per l’azione dei venti marini, com. lungo i litorali liguri e toscani │ P. silvestre , simile ai precedenti, tipico delle Alpi e delle montagne dell’Europa e dell’Asia Minore.

Evergreen tree, straight trunk, cylindrical, umbrella-shaped hair, needle leaves, fruits (pine cones) with woody scales - P. maritime (or wild p.), tree with slender stem or saber curve for the action of sea winds, com. along the Ligurian and Tuscan coasts - P. silvestre , similar to the previous ones, typical of the Alps and mountains of Europe and Asia Minor.
