- Che esprime una categorica opposizione o un rifiuto nei confronti di una domanda o una richiesta: risposta n. ║(LING). Di particella (no ), avv.(non ), congiunz.(né), prop.(non desidero ), contrapposto ad affermativo.

- Contrassegnato da un deciso orientamento verso una totale svalutazione (atteggiamento n.) o da un giudizio o da un risultato completamente sfavorevole (qualità n.; esito n.); contrapposto a positivo.
