- (MED). Ispessimento patologico del tessuto sottocutaneo, spec. degli arti inferiori che assumono forma cilindrica e aspetto massiccio, come negli elefanti.
(MED). Pathological thickening of the subcutaneous tissue, spec. of the lower limbs that take on a cylindrical shape and massive appearance, as in elephants.
