What is Liberal?
- Se dit d'une profession qui a pour objet un travail intellectuel effectué sans lien de subordination entre celui qui l'effectue et celui pour le compte de qui il est effectué, et dont la rémunération ne revêt aucun caractère commercial ou spéculatif (notaire, avocat, médecin, expert-comptable, etc.) ; se dit de quelqu'un qui exerce cette profession, du travail lui-même.
Said of a profession that purpose intellectual work without a link of subordination between the one who makes it and that on behalf of which it is carried out, and whose remuneration is not commercial or speculative nature (notary, lawyer, doctor, accountant, etc.); say someone who practises the profession, work itself.
