Transfer, transmission of property or a right, from one person to another. (Said specifically when talking about inheritance.)
- Droit qui, dans certains pays, donnait la succession aux seuls enfants nés d'un premier mariage.
A law which, in some countries, gave the inheritance only to the children born of a first marriage.
