tr. Possessing a thing or enjoy it: has an apartment on the beach.
Contain or understand itself: the book has no illustrations.
Built with some names, do or experience what they expressed: having a boring day.
aux. Built with a participle, is equivalent to having: I have already chosen.
- Construido con la conjunción que y el infinitivo de otro verbo, ser preciso algo o estar obligado a algo: tendré que salir.
Built with that conjunction and the infinitive of another verb, to be precise something or be forced to something: I will have to leave.
- (conque) esas tenemos loc. col. Denota sorpresa y enfado ante la actitud de otra persona: ¿esas tenemos? Pues si no ordenas tus cosas, no sales esta tarde.
(so) those have loc. Col. denotes surprise and anger at the attitude of another person: do we have those? Because if you do not order your stuff, not go this afternoon.
- quien tuvo, retuvo loc. Expresa que siempre se conserva algo de lo que en otro tiempo se tuvo, especialmente algunas virtudes: sigue siendo guapísima, y es que quien tuvo, retuvo.
