tr. Somewhat formally request: ask your honor to give me a hearing.
- Pedir algo con súplicas o con mucha humildad: te ruego que atiendas a tu madre mientras yo no esté.
Ask for something with supplications or with great humility: I beg you to attend to your mother while I am gone.
