Vad är weights?
- m. fís. Fuerza con que atrae la Tierra o cualquier otro cuerpo celeste a un cuerpo.
m. phys. A force with which it attracts the Earth or any other celestial body to a body.

- peso bruto El total, incluida la tara.
gross weight The total, including tare.
- peso específico fís. El de un cuerpo en comparación con el de otro de igual volumen tomado como unidad.
specific weight isis. That of one body compared to that of another of equal volume taken as a unit.
- peso molecular quím. Suma de los pesos atómicos que entran en la fórmula molecular de un compuesto.
molecular weight chem. Sum of the atomic weights that enter the molecular formula of a compound.
- peso neto El que resta del peso bruto deducida la tara.
net weight The one that subtracts from the gross weight deducted the tare.
- caer una cosa de o por su (propio) peso loc. Ser cierta y evidente: que la Tierra es redonda es una afirmación que cae por su propio peso.
drop a thing from or by its (own) weight loc. To be true and self-evident: that the Earth is round is a statement that falls under its own weight.
