- tr. Afirmar o negar una cosa, o prometerla, rotundamente poniendo por testigo a Dios, a algo o a alguien querido: le juró por sus muertos que no lo sabía.
Tr. Affirming or denying one thing, or promising it, by witnessing God, something, or someone loved: he swore to him for his dead that he did not know it.
