What is awaited?
- tr. Esperar a que venga o llegue alguien o algo: aguarda el autobús. También intr.: no puedo aguardar más.
Tr. Wait for someone or something to come or arrive: wait for the bus. Also intr.: I can't wait any longer.
- Dejar pasar un tiempo antes de realizar alguna cosa: aguarda unos minutos, por favor. También intr. y prnl.: aguarda, que ya voy; si te aguardas un poco, te ayudaré.
