- A suborder of serpents including those that have permanently erect grooved poison fangs, with ordinary teeth behind them in the jaws. It includes the cobras, the asps, and the sea snakes. Called also Proteroglyphia.
Un subordre de serps que inclou aquells que tenen ullals de verí ranurats permanentment erectes, amb dents ordinàries darrere d'ells a les mandíbules. Inclou les cobres, els asps i les serps marines. Anomenada també Proteroglyphia.
