What is Senate?
- En alguns sistemes polítics moderns, òrgan polític en què estan representats els diferents territoris d'un país i que s'encarrega d'acceptar o de refusar els projectes de llei que proposa el congrés: a l'estat espanyol, els dos organismes que formen el parlament són el senat i el congrés de diputats.
In some modern political systems, a political body in which the different territories of a country are represented and which is responsible for accepting or rejecting the bills proposed by Congress: in Spain, the two bodies that make up the parliament are the Senate and the Congress of Deputies.
