What is pines?
- (BOT). Albero sempreverde, dal tronco diritto, cilindrico, chioma a forma di ombrello, foglie ad aghi, frutti (pigne ) a squame legnose P. marittimo (o p. selvatico ), albero con fusto slanciato o ricurvo a sciabola per l’azione dei venti marini, com. lungo i litorali liguri e toscani P. silvestre , simile ai precedenti, tipico delle Alpi e delle montagne dell’Europa e dell’Asia Minore.
