- A group of fixed rotifers; the Flosculariidæ and Melicertidæ: opposed to Natantia. See Pedata.
- In Lamarck's classification (1801–1812), one of two orders of Cirripedia, distinguished from Pedunculata, and containing the sessile as distinguished from the pedunculate cirripeds; the sessile barnacles, as acornshells.
