What is Manis?
- A genus of edentates, covered with large, hard, triangular scales, with sharp edges that overlap each other like tiles on a roof. They inhabit the warmest parts of Asia and Africa, and feed on ants. Called also Scaly anteater. See pangolin.
Un género de edentados, cubiertos con escamas grandes, duras y triangulares, con bordes afilados que se superponen entre sí como tejas en un techo. Habitan en las partes más cálidas de Asia y África, y se alimentan de hormigas. Llamado también oso hormiguero escamoso. Ver pangolín.
